Under the Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act (ESTMA), companies engaged in commercial development of oil, gas or minerals and operating in Canada are required to submit an annual report summarizing all payments of C$100,000 or more made to governments in all jurisdiction, globally. This legislation took effect in 2015. Aurwest Resources Corporation. is a “reporting issuer” under Canadian securities legislation and, as such, will comply with its continuous disclosure obligations including press releases and financial reporting.
