Aurwest is a Canadian-based junior resource company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of gold properties in Canada. The Company also currently holds a 100% interest in the 24,533-hectare Stellar copper/gold Project plus an additional 3,761 hectares of contiguous claims in the newly acquired 100% interest in the Stars property, located approximately 25-65 kilometers southwest of Houston British Columbia.
STELLAR - 24,533 Hectares (100%)
The Stellar property is an early-stage exploration project with significant potential to host porphyry copper and structurally controlled gold deposits. In 2019, Aurwest completed a 1,049 km airborne geophysical survey over the property. In mid-2020, the first comprehensive technical review of the property was completed in the 1960’s.
STARS - 3,761 Hectares (100%)
The Stars porphyry discovery represents a possible higher-grade porphyry discovery in an area of excellent access and infrastructure. Aurwest’s northern claims cover a prominent NNE trending group of regional aeromagnetic highs that include one coincident with the Stars discovery and it’s intrusive host rocks. On February 28, 2018 M3 Metals reported that drillhole #4 intersected 40.2 metres of 1.02% copper equivalent (CuEq), within a broader interval of 204 m of 0.50% CuEq close to surface. Drilling at Stars targeted an area approximately 100m southeast of an area of previous drilling, where in 2001 drillhole DDH CS-07 intersected 142m of 0.25% copper. The 2018 discovery hole targeted an area of elevated magnetic signature that was coincident with both IP chargeability and copper-in-soil geochemical highs.
The Stars Property consists of three mineral tenures (3,761 ha), located in the Omineca Mining District, located approximately 65 km southwest of Houston, British Columbia. The Property is located at UTM coordinates 612,900 mE and 6,010,400 mN, on NTS map sheet 093L / 03 and can be accessed by all-season forest roads, including the Chisholm Mainline FSR, which runs directly through the southern portion of the Property.
The area comprising and surrounding the Stars property has been explored intermittently since the early 1970’s. Historical exploration consisted of mapping, sampling, prospecting, airborne and ground magnetic surveys, Induced Polarization surveys, and several reverse circulation and diamond drilling programs.
The property is underlain by Hazelton Group volcanic and subordinate sedimentary units, intruded by stocks and other intrusions attributed to the Late-Triassic to Early-Jurassic Topley Intrusions as the oldest, followed by the Late-Cretaceous Bulkley Intrusions, and finally the youngest Eocene-aged Babine Plutonic Suite.
The mineralization on the Stars property consists of porphyry style vein hosted and disseminated chalcopyrite/bornite, and quartz vein hosted molybdenite, with low but significant concentrations of gold and silver. The mineralization is hosted in both volcanic and intrusive rocks, exhibiting variable alteration suites and silicification. The mineralization intersected in the 2017-2018 drilling program is referred to as the “Tana Zone”, and remains open in several directions and down dip.

Aurwest intends to model all available historical exploration data including 3D modelling of the Tana zone. The results of these work programs will be used to prepare a proposed recommended program and budget to continue exploration of the larger Stellar/Stars Property package.

The exploration model being used at Stellar is the Stars discovery. The Stars discovery is situated on claims that adjoin the Company’s southern boundary and occurs in a large (~5km diameter) positive circular magnetic feature.
The copper mineralization is hosted in a potassic altered monzodiorite intrusion, and in porphyry dikes which cut the larger intrusion, and in hornfelsed and silicified Hazelton Group volcanics along the volcanic/monzodiorite contact.

Aurwest has completed a detailed airborne magnetic survey on the property, which has provided the Company with three priority areas for ground-based exploration. The first phase of work is recommended to include prospecting, stream sediment and contour soil geochemical sampling. Follow up work, if warranted, would focus on areas of coincident geophysical and geochemical anomalies and would consist of further geochemical sampling and prospecting, as well as ground-based IP (Induced Polarization) geophysical surveying, with the goal of outlining potential mineralizing systems.
